Hey Satya — really enjoyed our intro call yesterday. As promised, I dug through your CV and have a few thoughts.

The systems-engineering depth is genuinely an advantage for architect roles. Most candidates I see don't have that grounding. Two things I'd lean into:

1. RAG architecture — your skill audit already flagged this. Once you've shipped a hybrid pipeline (BM25 + vector + reranker), that becomes a portfolio piece you can walk through in interviews.
2. Production-readiness narrative — frame your past systems work as "I've shipped to prod under load." It maps directly to what architects are hired for.

Thanks Priya — this is super useful. Reading through your annotations now. Quick question on the RAG project: should I prioritise getting a polished prototype out, or going deeper on eval rigour?

Good question. Eval rigour wins every time. A scrappy prototype with proper offline+online eval > a polished demo without numbers. Interviewers ask "how do you know it's working" — having an answer is a signal multiplier.

Got it. I'll set up RAGAS first, then build out the pipeline. Will share for review before our Thursday session.
